Description:
These week- long Summer Camps are based on curriculum standards that cover both Natural and Cultural History! Campers will experience the relationship between nature and history on over 700 acres at the beautiful Boone Hall Plantation.
Learn what a plantation is as you ride a tractor-drawn wagon around the farm fields to demonstrate the relationship between farming, nature and the conservation of our land. Be a part of nature as we explore the tidal marsh for its inhabitants. Become an expert in local bird identification. Learn how John Boone, the founder of Boone Hall Plantation, and his family went about their everyday lives. Experience the magic of the Butterfly Pavilion as you see the relationship between plants, animals and humans. Ecology and Environmental Education lasts a lifetime and is so much fun!
