The Avenue Of The Oaks is a ¾ mile of 265 year-old oak trees which forms one of the grandest entrances anywhere in the world, and is what helps make Boone Hall Plantation one of the leading tourist attractions in the Charleston, S. C. Lowcountry. The avenue also serves as the backdrop for one of the premier events held each December to kick off the holidays.

WINE UNDER THE OAKS is a casual and elegant affair that welcomes patrons to sample fine wines from Boone Hall Farms and delicious gourmet foods from Lowcountry chefs. Featuring live music, specialty gifts, a fine selection of wines, and edible delicacies, guests can complete their holiday shopping on the majestic front lawn of Boone Hall Plantation. A portion of the proceeds and a silent auction will be held to benefit The American Red Cross.

The event this year is again presented jointly by Boone Hall Plantation and Boone Hall Farms in partnership with the Apex Broadcasting radio affiliates 101.7 Chuck FM, B92.5 FM, and Star 99.7 FM. Boone Hall is grateful to also have 82 Queen and BB&T Bank as event sponsors.
