The Avenue Of The Oaks is a ¾ mile of 265 year-old oak trees which forms one of the grandest entrances anywhere in the world, and is what helps make Boone Hall Plantation one of the leading tourist attractions in the Charleston, S. C. Lowcountry. The avenue also serves as the backdrop for one of the premier events held each December to kick off the holidays.

WINE UNDER THE OAKS is a casual and elegant affair that welcomes patrons to sample fine wines from Boone Hall Farms and delicious gourmet foods from Lowcountry chefs. Featuring live music, specialty gifts, a fine selection of wines, and edible delicacies, guests can complete their holiday shopping on the majestic front lawn of Boone Hall Plantation. This past year a portion of the proceeds raised from this event were given to benefit The American Red Cross.
