Take a trip back in time to era gone forever but never forgotten as the color and the lifestyle of the antebellum era comes to life during Living History Weekend at Boone Hall Plantation.
The weekend is an educational and entertaining experience that has something for all ages. Their are numerous events and a variety of attractions throughout the weekend that put this very critical time in history on display in a variety of ways. The centerpiece of the weekend is a civil war battle re-enactment featuring hundreds of re-enacotrs from all over the United States who take part in this spectacular weekend.
This weekend's battle re-enactment serves to remind visitors about this time in history and to honor the lives lost. Proceeds from the battle re-enactment go to historic flag preservation efforts and other projects initiated by the Confederate Heritage Trust.
