This one week Summer Camp has a new and exciting curriculum that is Ecology based. Campers will experience nature around Boone Hall Plantations' 700 acres. We will explore the tidal marsh for crabs oysters and fish. The Aviary will help to identify different local species of birds and the tram ride through the farm fields will demonstrate the relationship between farming, nature and the conservation of our land. Tours of the historical Slave Cabins and Smoke House will provide the history of Plantation life and how important it is to conserve our present environment. The Butterfly Pavilion adventure will actively portray the relationship between plants, animals and humans. Ecology and Environmental Education lasts a lifetime and is so much fun!
